The Sr Director – Supply Chain Finance partners with Sysco’s Chief Supply Chain Officer along with Field Supply Chain VP, Logistics, Region and division Finance/Supply Chain leaders to achieve Supply Chain and company goals. This role also provides all decision support and financial reporting for the Supply Chain organization (Field and Global Support Center-GSC). The role also provides financial support to the supply chain, real estate and logistics teams, while also managing the overall Enterprise Capital Budget. Given the global nature of the role, it requires the development of strong partnerships and collaboration across Company’s HQ and various business.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
Directly support the Supply Chain Team with capacity, throughput and efficiency efforts, while supporting improvements to the distribution and logistics operations at Sysco.
Provide insight into the numbers including developing metrics, KPIs, and transformation initiative reporting
Develop and deliver ad hoc analyses whereby results address current business challenges and answer questions regarding future financial scenarios.
Develops and reviews results of analytical tools for the purpose of measuring, explaining and implementation of action plans to improve performance.
Manage the AOP and budgeting process and monthly/quarterly business review process
Identify cost and efficiency opportunities
Perform Ad-hoc analytics and financial decision support
Supply Chain Transformation tracking/value capture; tie to P&L
Senior Finance support for major investment decisions
Deploy Finance best practices across the Supply Chain function
Attract, develop and retain Finance talent
Key Experience, Qualifications and Education
Minimum Experience: 10+ years
Unique Qualifications or Skills: Financial or business related analysis experience including previous experience in managing a finance team.
Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
High business acumen and increased collaboration with both functional business leaders
Executive level communication and reporting
Team development and career path enhancement
Foodservice or food industry background preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. MBA Degree or CPA preferred.
