SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
Performs activities required to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs activities related to AP Payment Processing including GL coding of indirect and employee expenses
GL coding of non-PO related expenses
Processes scheduled and exception (one-off) payments
Creates payment parameters and secures appropriate approvals
Processes Internet and phone payments
Generates periodic reports and annual tax filing information
Liaises closely with Corporate/Site Financial and Operations management as appropriate
Works with SBS Call Center and acts as Tier 3 support related to AP Payment Processing as appropriate
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School or Equivalent
Associate’s Degree or equivalent or related specialized courses.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Up to 2 years related experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and 10-key by touch
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Ability to select and apply standard policies and procedures.
Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently.
Good oral and written communication skills.
