  • Provides comprehensive administrative support to Senior Leaders.

  • Exercise necessary levels of discretion or independent judgement in all situations; maintain the highest level of confidentiality

  • Manage internal and external relationships and interface with high level contacts, adaptable in dealing with all levels throughout the organization

  • Manage complex and dynamic calendar/schedules involving high visibility customers, suppliers and members of Sysco ELT members, SYGMA leadership team; mitigate conflicts to satisfactory outcomes

  • Planning and active support of leadership meetings, SYGMA townhall updates, conference calls, customer events

  • Support SYGMA SLT meetings in all aspects (video, onsite/offsite), compile minutes, track action items for the team; organize SLT meetings including agendas and pre-read materials; gather updates on follow up items

  • Create professional executive presentations for customer proposals, leadership team meetings, Sysco ELT meetings, annual plan reviews, etc.

  • Work independently to create, maintain, update and run reports (regular and ad hoc)

  • Solve problems or analyze opportunities to the root cause by researching and analysis of pertinent details

  • Develop professional working relationships with Sysco Executive Assistants, T&E resources, meeting planner resources, manage event contracts

  • Support SYGMA wide communication efforts (examples are customer updates, leadership updates, Sysco press releases)

  • Arrange Executive and team travel

  • Assist/support some SYGMA Corporate office administrative functions: maintenance of on-line directory for all SYGMA locations; maintenance of SYGMA wide organization charts; corporate employee events, support front desk coverage as needed.

  • Work independently but be flexible enough to be directed at times

  • Respond to all situations in a manner that supports the desired company culture

  • Comply with the Company's code of conduct and all applicable regulations

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

  • 5-7 years executive administrative experience required; 10 years preferred

    Experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel required

  • High degree of professionalism

  • Able to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information, exhibit sound discretion or independent judgement

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Able to complete high level tasks but willing to complete other tasks as needed to get the job done

  • Strong ability to prioritize and to work on multiple projects concurrently

  • Strong planning and organizing skills; follow-up and attention to detail

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; excellent telephone etiquette
