Role:

Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, scanning and labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.

Salary:

• $21.01/hr to 27.91/hr after 4 years;

• Night shift premiums of $1.20/ per hour;

• Up to 2 wages increase per year.

Role Responsibilities:

• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures (Dry, Cooler, and Freezer).

• Operate assigned Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to scan and create labels; correctly place labels on product.

• Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures.

• Frequently lift product that weighs 1-55 pounds; frequently reach and constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas.

• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product.

• Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations and shrink-wrap product on loading dock.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

• Warehouse experience using a pallet jack and/or forklift and palletizing product;

• High school diploma or equivalent;

• Medium to high level of physical exertion is required; repetitive, continuous lifting to 40 kg;

• Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment;

• teamwork attitude;

• Available to work from Sunday to Thursday from 6:00 pm to 4h30 am;

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in French.
