Position Summary:
The Director, Change Management will play a critical role in building change capability and organizational resiliency in our global organization, coaching business leaders on change management strategies, and providing change management leadership for our global transformation. The director will be able to link practical change management practices to driving project ROI and achieving company strategy. This role will be a thought-leader and advocate for the global Organization Change Management Office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of a global change management center of expertise, including strategy, processes, measures, and direct supervision of Change Management experts.
Staff change initiatives with internal resources and management of 3rd-party change resources, and collaborate with global business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to support enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure concrete, practical change management strategies, tools, plans and success measures.
Provide direct change management expertise for some of organization's most complex, large-impact initiatives, including assessment and data gathering, executive partnership, build and deploy comprehensive change management plans appropriate for our distributed workforce and matrixed organization, ensuring stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional integrated plans.
Build organizational change management capability among global leaders and HRBPs through innovative change approaches, leader development programs, and direct leader influence.
Developing business change strategies and executive project-based change deliverables for key initiatives including visioning, stakeholder engagement, change risk and readiness assessment, communications, organizational impact analysis, alignment and transition, and sustainability.
Articulating the change, identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact, and communicating to the organization.
Proactively identifying potential people risks at a portfolio level and anticipating resistance; developing specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
Developing an actionable and targeted organizational alignment plan for portfolio sponsors and stakeholder management which includes communication, coaching, education and resistance management.
Creating and enabling reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
Creating and managing measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
Education:
Bachelor's or higher Degree in Business, Communications, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Human Resources or related discipline from accredited university.
Experience:
10+ years of Change Management experience required. Experience as an internal consultant in a corporate environment, a plus.
Change Management professional designation or certification (preferred)
Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus
Experience leading a team of internal or external consultants.
Expert level change management practitioner with experience and knowledge of multiple change management methodologies and tools, including change management certification.
Experience working in global, highly matrix organizations.
Experience leading change for complex, cross-functional, cross-geography change initiatives with significant business impact at an enterprise, global level.
Ability to work at a fast pace within a lean environment.
Experience leading a variety of types of change programs, not just technology driven change.
Ability to leverage PPT to communicate a compelling story.
Gravitas; executive presence.
Work effectively with stakeholders ranging from the C suite to drivers in the field.
Technical Skills and Abilities:
A solid understanding of how people experience change and the psychology of change.
Expert knowledge in change management principles and methodologies.
Understanding how to apply process changes to change management
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Complex program, project and change management expertise with a proven record of success.
Ability to integrate global, typically complex projects and large initiatives.
Demonstrate a balance between a strategic enterprise view, planning high-level work processes, and deploying day-to-day practical change management tactics.
