This role is responsible for managing the Company's tax reporting obligations, including the preparation of the worldwide tax provision and related SEC disclosures for the consolidated year-end and quarterly financial statements in accordance with ASC 740 and FIN 18. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining a reliable tax forecasting process for the effective and cash tax rates. This role will also advise the director, Tax Compliance on the preparation of the US-related tax returns as necessary.
Position scope includes, but is not limited to:
Primarily responsible for ASC 740 and FIN18 SEC reporting and disclosure Manage Global Tax forecasting and modeling of Effective Tax Rate and Cash Taxes working closely with Financial Planning, Operations, Treasury, and executives across the company. Maintain tax reserve inventory (FIN48, FAS5). Assist compliance Director with US tax return filings. Complete Tax provision modeling related to tax planning and research including providing the financial analysis support for initiatives/projects as well as law change modeling. Effectively manage relationships and deadlines with internal teams, external auditors and oversee the work of third- party service providers within budget and time constraints. Reports to the Sr. Director, Global Tax Operations and works closely with Tax leadership Team. Lead and develop other team members in Tax, financial reporting, and other operational areas while maintaining a strong relationship of mutual trust and respect Coordinate with service providers as necessary on specific projects, as needed.

ASC740/Forecasting - 60%
Tax return assistance and other - 20%
Research, planning, due diligence, and business support - 20%
Tax Experience - 8 years. of Tax Department specific accounting for Income Taxes and/or Public Accounting Firm experience with responsibility for tax provisions, forecasting
Degree - BBA in Accounting, or Master of Taxation a plus
Some US State and Local Experience a must - International a plus
Strong Financial and Tax Accounting Skills
IT Skills - Advanced Excel and coordination with Sysco IT data requests a must. Ability to use Tax Research Software and Tax Accounting Financial packages. OneSource Tax Provision experience a plus.
Big 4 and SOX Experience in documentation and disclosure
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
