Position Purpose:

This Engagement Specialist role is dedicated to the execution of Sysco’s global Associate Listening programs, with the goal of deeply understanding the associate experience, fully leveraging Sysco’s investment in tools (Perceptyx, Humm, etc.), and providing insights/analysis to the business for the purposes of attraction, engagement, retention, and understanding the full associate life-cycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

Execute Sysco’s survey program as part of the associate listening program, including being involved in planning, designing, building, deployment, and preparation of results of all Sysco associate surveys – including but not limited to the annual Sysco Speaks census survey, topical pulse surveys, and on demand surveys

Responsible for managing the data preparation process for all Sysco surveys deployed through Global Talent Management

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish efficient, accurate data gathering and transfer processes, administer surveys, and report on results.

  • Internal stakeholders include HR leaders, project leaders, business leaders, multiple data teams.

  • External stakeholders include survey vendors and potentially data analysis partners.

Use survey feedback to drive insights and action in support of Sysco’s business initiatives, including Sysco Transformation initiatives, culture and engagement programs, and global talent management strategy.

Work with people leaders and HR Business Partners to interpret analysis, support action planning efforts, and track the impact of actions on business performance, employee engagement, etc. over time

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, or closely related field required for external candidates, preferred for internal candidates.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of employee survey experience.

Technical Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience / familiarity with employee listening and feedback success practices.

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, specifically in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in one on one and group presentations, including the ability to translate data results into actions that leaders and teams can understand

  • Strong relationship building skills – will work on global cross-functional teams

  • Work inclusively across all stakeholders, geographies, languages, and other considerations.

  • Ability to design and manage a consistent approach and process to the associate listening strategy
