Manager – Specialty Transformation and Process
Job Summary:
As the Manager, Specialty Transformation, and Process, this role will support the VP, Specialty Transformation by developing solutions and strategies which will enable seamless execution of the organization’s overall business, technical and digital strategy. You are required to have an innovative and strategic mindset with a primary focus of improving overall organizational efficiency within the Specialty companies. The role includes helping to design a go-to-market strategy for new digital and eCommerce products, services, and programs to drive customer acquisition and share of wallet expansion. The role engages directly with Business Unit and Broadline leadership to ensure delivery of a high-quality, robust, and scalable products on a regular basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support VP Specialty Transformation, Specialty senior leadership and finance business partner.
Directly communicates with a broad range of business and technical stakeholders across the organization.
Utilizes advanced knowledge to deliver technical presentations to a variety of audiences including key stakeholders.
Contribute to development of end-to-end customer experience for new programs and provide program requirements to technology teams to build eCommerce and/or digital experience
Collaborate with pricing, merchandising, and enterprise analytics teams to define and execute pricing and any merchandising strategies to build eCommerce and/or digital experience
Help design pilot tests and launch, pilot, and iterate offerings in test markets. Drive analytics and/or building of analytic tools needed to support key decisions concerning offering, go-to-market, market rollout, etc. to build eCommerce and/or digital experience
Contribute to development and execution of scale-up plan based on pilot learnings to build eCommerce and/or digital experience
Considers financial data when making decisions.
Conduct in-depth analysis of issues, identify solutions, form and deploy action plans and strategies to drive value and continuous improvement, and meet auditing requirements.
Implement and drive best practices and root cause analysis guidelines across business units.
Rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Adjusts project plans based on input from staff and stakeholders.
Determines objectives, sets priorities, and delegates work where appropriate.
Ensures project(s) is aligned with strategic vision and subsequent priorities
Identifies risks and their potential outcomes and implements working solutions.
Serves as a thought leader internally.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience managing technical operations and production support teams
5+ years of experience working with multiple functional, support, and operations teams
Strategic thinking, executive presence, sound judgment, and ability to influence
Proven track record of leadership, critical thinking, and superior troubleshooting skills
Ability to identify and implement necessary changes to enable a business to achieve optimal performance
Other Required Skills and Abilities:
Successful tracking and schedule compliance with large scale projects
Ability to work across multiple job levels to achieve results
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven manner
Consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines
Demonstrated use of sound and proven project management practices and tools, including excellent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet,
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to deliver projects more efficiently
Outstanding time management and organization skills
