SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the day to day success of a data visualization platform within the Commercialization organization. This person will be highly skilled at navigating data visualization software (i.e. tableau), project management, and the strategic implementation of communications to impact overall success. This person will serve as a subject matter expert, interact with internal and external users and support teams, and provide technical and data-related services, guidance, support, and training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide guidance, onboarding, and training for external and internal users on data, visualizations, and insights

  • Support the development of training content, live demo’s, FAQs, and documentation

  • Build deep understanding of software and data to answer key business questions from internal and external users; collect and distill user stories

  • Assist with the management of the use case pipeline working cross functionally with end users to collect feedback for future use case development and with developers and technical support to implement solutions

  • Develop content to answer prospective user questions, identify key contacts and schedule meetings with prospective users to enroll new users, track conversion and uptake

  • Analyze visualization performance and usage and identify pain points, value, and solutions to increase uptake and utilization

  • Manage and update user permissioning

  • Collaborate with external and internal support teams to provide content/helpdesk support; track, respond to, and close outstanding issues raised by users and stakeholders

  • Develop in-depth business, analytical and systems knowledge to improve or build analytical solutions, approaches, and business recommendations

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s tools, skills, culture, and impact

QUALIFIATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Business, Computer Science, or Analytics degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions required; master’s degree a plus

  • 4 years of experience in analytics required

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strategic skills (making complex decisions, innovation, dealing with ambiguity, etc.) as well as excellent analytic, and quantitative skills

  • Problem-solving skills with proven ability to influence others across the organization

  • Self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with diverse business scenarios, handling multiple priorities and have a business & consultancy mind-set, while technically (data) savvy

  • Passion about discovering new things and ability to learn quickly

  • Good communication skills, self-motivated, dynamic, reciprocal and "can-do" attitude

  • Data management and visualization skills / tools (SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or similar) is an advantage

  • Collaborative team player who can effectively work in a matrix/cross-functional organization

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, and automation using macros and VBA) skills required

  • Intermediate Microsoft Access and PowerPoint required
