ob Summary:

This is a Sales & Marketing position responsible for achieving increased sales from National and Regional Sales (Multi-Unit) Account customers through penetration of current business as well as gaining new customers. The CMU Director will be responsible for administering and visioning all customer facing value added services including but not limited to Business Reviews, Program Development, Reporting and Analytics Tools specific to customer needs. In some instances, this job may include a small number of direct reports.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to manage and serve a large volume of CMU and Emerging Chain revenue >$100.0MM individually.

  • Ability to build, lead, and manage a sales team consisting of individuals the grow and support the national sales organization.

  • Ability to generate consistent and profitable sales growth on a continuous basis.

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Ability to respond to and complete RFP's in within a specific deadline.

  • Ability to understand and analyze the profitability of new customer proposals as well as analyze and improve the profitability of existing clients.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

  • Must possess knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Use of Laptop preferred.

Essential Duties:

  • Supports Company goals to assure Sales Plan and Profitability.

  • Develops and maintains pipeline of MUA prospects.

  • Identifies needs of existing clients and performs proactive services to continually improve the overall customer experience.

  • Determines sales goals for individual account base as well as potential new clients

  • Develops rapport with customers so that needs can be assessed, and services are implemented with the results of customer retention as well as growth.

  • Utilizes knowledge and expertise to develop and manage customer programs that are mutually beneficial to FreshPoint in the client.

  • Develops and maintains positive working relationship with fellow associates at local Operating Companies as well as corporate level.

  • Ability to schedule and organize travel well in advance of meetings and offsite functions

  • This position requires work and response on non-traditional hours and weekends as dictated by the business and customer need

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required.

Experience

  • 5 years of previous sales experience and a leadership role working within a sales environment is required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills are required.

  • Intermediate word processing (Microsoft Word preferred) and intermediate spreadsheet application skills (Microsoft Excel preferred) are desired.

  • Ability to work with a variety of people and situations in a fast-paced environment is required.

Work Environment

  • General working conditions - exposed to adverse conditions 5% or less of the time.
