Role:

Set up and maintain all Corporate and Local Earned Income programs within the Vendor Rebate Maintenance system for the Canadian enterprise to create consistent, standard information across Canada for our sites. Manage the sites vendor AR and collect accrued Earned Income to ensure consistent accurate Financials.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Set up New and Renewed Vendor Rebate Programs (Earned Income) in the (Master Data Maintenance) MDM system and flow to all Canadian sites systems

  • Process daily maintenance on Vendor Rebate Programs and flow to all Canadian systems

  • Monitor for future Expiring Programs and follow up on renewals

  • Create manual Vendor invoicing as required

  • Work with sites and vendors to solve queries and provide information on Earned Income and trending

  • Reconcile all Earned Income payments and work with the MDM Cash Application team to clear Vendor AR

  • Review Vendor AR Aging and follow up with Vendor on outstanding collections

  • Prepare Earned Income reporting as required

  • Work with our audit teams to ensure our processes and documents continue to be compliant

  • Become involved in adhoc projects, and/or join teams to collaborate on new efficiencies and procedures

  • Process quarterly fill rate penalty billings to our Suppliers, to support our merchandising teams

  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.

  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

  • Minimum three (3+) years job related experience in Financial Data Management and Business Analysis as well as experience with Merchandising and Finance functions.

  • Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Business or Finance required

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business is an asset

  • Bilingual in French is an asset

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel (Expert level), and Outlook as well as Cognos Impromptu and Powerplay (SPAR), AS400, and Internet applications.
