Position Summary:

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports strategies to help drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs and overall business improvement and partners with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results through utilization of Financial Planning & Analysis best practices. Also supports Corporate FP&A processes, initiatives and reporting for the Company’s domestic and international segments.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Create reporting and communicate insight for leadership team, including metric development.

  • Support monthly/quarterly business review processes. Provide business insight into the monthly and quarterly results for Corporate FP&A, including forecasts.

  • Manage and support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting process for the organization; identify cost and efficiency opportunities.

  • Manage monthly/quarterly business review process for domestic and international segments.

  • Identify cost and efficiency opportunities.

  • Perform ad-hoc analytics, financial modeling and decision support to OpCo CFO and President.

  • Support the transformation metrics and tracking; tie to P&L results.

  • Provide senior finance support for major initiatives.

  • Provide analytical support for major investment decisions.


Minimum Education, Including Degrees and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance required.

  • Master Degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.

Minimum Experience (Years and Type of Experience):

  • 5+ years of finance and accounting experience with emphasis on financial planning and analysis, business analytics, reporting development and financial modeling.

  • International accounting experience a plus.

  • ERP Systems / PeopleSoft experience preferred.

  • Able to perform quantitative analysis using appropriate analytical tools. Requires expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel to develop and troubleshoot reports.

  • Independently structure and develop PowerPoint presentations and other business documents for executive audiences.

  • Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions.

  • Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Makes timely decisions.

  • Customer Service – Responds promptly to requests for service and assistance as needed. Follows up as needed.

  • Detail Oriented – Attention to details and accuracy.

  • Computer Skills – Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook). Ability to learn Sysco and other technology software and programs (i.e., PeopleSoft, Phocas, SalesForce, etc.)

  • If working remote, must have required software to ensure timely communications and have a dedicated work space free of any distractions and participate in customer or conference calls in a business friendly environment.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • This position may require evening and weekend work depending on business needs.
