Position Purpose:

The Scrum Master - Project Manager will lead and execute projects in support of Guest Worldwide’s marketing and eCommerce business plans. The individual conducts and owns the lifecycle of each project from start to finish. The individual leads all phases of execution including initiation, planning, development, monitoring and closing of all assigned projects, and maintaining the working relationship with cross functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure their input is captured and supports the requirements of the project’s success. The Scrum Master - Project Manager is expected to ensure all milestones are met with a focus on delivering the project on-time, within budget and global compliance. The Scrum Master - Project Manager will resolve all critical issues with tactical planning to bring any projects back on track if facing obstacles. This role works closely with the marketing and eCommerce leadership team to merchandise project status of initiatives, enhancements and timelines with an articulation of any risk or dependencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end project management execution through interfacing with the Cross Functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure effective management of the entire process of partial or complete website enhancement roadmap for Guest Worldwide. This included managing all development of website enhancement requests, prioritization, and gathering of specifications, data integration dependencies, timelines as specified by eCommerce Director, internal/external platform developers, and BT Partners to ensure their inputs are captured and support the business requirements of projects.

  • Facilitates effective sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing insight into the priorities, through an understanding of technical issues, identifying dependencies on other teams and finding ways to close gaps in execution.

  • This Project Manager kicks off, leads projects and provides key information and status to marketing and eCommerce leadership team as necessary.

  • Acts as a critical control point by managing a large array of strategic projects for the marketing and eCommerce department and is responsible for the process development, KPI benchmarking, milestone deliverables, timelines and key follow ups.

  • Bridges business thoughts into requirements/process to set team members and projects up for success at each project initiation and then l eads workflow for projects while holding team members accountable for deliverables and deadlines.

  • Lead updates to appropriate teams with respect to key dependencies, changes and launch/completion status.

  • The role will also assess/evaluate process improvements, document existing workflows and interview/train/influence team members as needed on across all levels within the all marketing and eCommerce teams to help the change management of legacy behaviors and systems.

  • Understand the business needs for each department and project by working closely with the marketing and eCommerce leadership team in order to make suggestions, establish, and implement processes and improvements across team as a shared service.

  • Help set global best practices from centralized corporate team for global implementation, collaboration, and project visibility.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or eCommerce related field preferred.

  • PMP certification a plus.


  • 5-7 years’ experience in the role of a Scrum Master or in project management within an agile environment

  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development frameworks

  • Strong understanding of agile Project Management Tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, HP agile Manager, Rally etc.


  • Demonstrated servant leadership with the ability to foster team engagement and collaboration.

  • Demonstrated problem solver and active seeker of solutions.

  • Effective change management skills in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, management and inter-department staff.

  • Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities as necessary.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel experience with macros, filters, etc. highly desirable.
