Job Summary:
A Hub Manager Role will oversee training hubs and supply chain instructors within a region. The role is designed to oversee all delivery partner training activities within that region, including but not limited to, 2 training hubs, the supply chain instructors, and delivery partner mentors within that region. Our goal is deliver consistent and uniform training methods across the region to improve our training methods, reduce accidents, and increase retention. A Hub Manager would involve themselves by traveling to hubs and sites to improve the training goals for each location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee at least two hub locations to make sure they are fully staffed and operational. Offer support wherever needed for personnel, equipment, problem solving, and any supplies or decisions needed to function at 100%
Work closely with Supply Chain Instructors in the region for support, development, and important decision making for all driver training at each site in the region.
Develop action plan for each Supply Chain Instructor’s site/region that identify areas of improvement to work on. Offer support and coaching and recommend when a new Supply Chain Instructor should be replaced or added in the region
Support in the development and training of new Supply Chain Instructors and develop successful SCI’s to achieve new successes.
Certify Supply Chain Instructors for both Academy/Site Training standards
Relationship building with Sysco sites/representatives and vendors to continuously strengthen and improve the flow of the Academies.
Up to 75% travel
Experience Required:
3+ years Supply Chain Instructor or similar role
Managing 25+ Individuals
CDL Experience
Driver/Employee Training Experience
Experience Preferred:
5+ years hiring and training delivery drivers
CDL training experience a plus.
Interviewing experience
Supply Chain/warehouse experience
Licenses/Certification Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
Licenses/Certification Preferred:
- Commercial Driver’s License (Class A)
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office, excel, Workday, etc.
Training Delivery Drivers in a classroom and outdoor setting.
Physical Demands:

Joining in training classes involve lifting, climbing, walking, sitting, standing for 8 to 10 hours a day. Other days sitting long hours in a desk, using computer and phone. Traveling from location to location when needed.
Work Environment:
- Working in trucking yards, warehouse, and classroom locations often. Wear safety gear around equipment, high noise levels around equipment.
